We completed an important Vetiver work in Marovoay with the Water User Associations (see images below) at the Rice Project in Marovoay. We now estimate that over 120 km of Canals, roads, dykes and waterways are protected in the Marovoay area and in March 2001 we "exported" the technology to protect the sewage drains of Mahajanga town (Vallon Metzinger) in co-operation with another German funded Project there.
